I set up this shot to be a professional headshot for my sister. Then I made our mom get in there and snapped a few more. And then I stepped into the shot for a few because I knew mom would like it more if all three of us were in it.
So it was kind of impromptu (in fact, shot with natural light in a garage). And I have lots of candids of both of them but I must say, I’m so glad to have this portrait. Don’t you feel like you look at mom here and see how smart and kind? What a sweetie.
