Just before Thanksgiving, Jewish Family Services of Metrowest volunteers filled loads of bags with all kinds of healthy groceries, along with turkeys and pies, to give to families at Woodrow Wilson elementary school in Framingham. There were a lot of industrious volunteers getting everything ready when I got there, including several kids. When all the bags were full and turkeys ready for pickup, a long line of families came through… it was good to see so many families that would be able to make a special meal for Thanksgiving. I took pictures at the event to help tell the story to donors. Here are a few of the hard-working volunteers.
